Custom Portrait Art is an experience and an investment. Most of our clients’ purchases average around $1500 which includes the creative fee. Our sessions start at $200 with a minimum product purchase of $500.

The Look Book: All our clients receive access to our beautiful Look Book and Design catalog with detailed pricing, products, and policy information. The Look Book is designed to help inspire, guide and excite them for the next step of a Custom Design Consultation which is a vital step to ensure we produce the most beautiful, unique images.
Custom Design Consultation: During this meeting, we will discuss all the elements that go into creating images that will capture the essence of your children/family. We will discuss details like the date and the time of the session, location options, prop choices, and wardrobe. Our collaboration will result in exquisite artistic portraiture that you will be thrilled to display in your home.
Portrait Session: The portrait session is where we bring our ideas to life. Deborah Chetwood prides herself on making the clients feel completely comfortable, while producing the most flattering images through lighting, posing and compositions. We always shoot in gorgeous locations that will enhance your natural beauty. Deborah’s goal is for her clients to enjoy the experience of the session as much as they will adore the portraits. The session will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and a half; resulting in approximately 35 images.
Artistic Processing: The session fee also includes time and talent of our artist. After the session is complete, Deborah will begin the process of hand-editing your images. You are working with a professional who sets high artistic standards for every image; for this reason, please allow two weeks for completion. We promise that the wait is worth it.
Premier Custom Ordering Session: A premier custom ordering session is scheduled two weeks after the completion of the portrait session. During this session all of your portraits are presented in a personalized slideshow. This is the time that we will work together to place your portrait purchase. Since choosing your portraits can sometimes be a confusing and overwhelming experience, we will be available to answer any questions that might arise.
Portrait Orders: While many clients do not completely understand the differences between printing companies, it is a vital component in achieving a final product that is worth display. Professional photographers do not work with large companies that complete fast, mass printing for a reason. Those companies are often not calibrated to industry color standards. You will be able to see the difference. Rest assured that the portraits and products you order with The Texas Photographer are unsurpassed in both quality and luxury and because of that we have a lifetime guarantee.
